Maggie Jessie Auld, also known as Margaret, was the fourth daughter of Alexander and Catherine Auld(m.s.Wares). She was born on the 10th March 1879 at Trumland, Island of Rousay, Orkney.
1891 Census shows Margaret (Maggie), now just over 12 years old, was staying in 48 Jasmine Street, Aberdeen with her aunt, Helen Wares (sister of Catherine Auld, nee Wares) and husband, William Georgeson, who was a coachbuilder.
She married John Milne Dickie, a gamekeeper and second son of James, a gardener, and Sophie Dickie (m.s. Mundie), on the 3rd April 1907 at 13 King Street, Aberdeen.
Maggie died on the 16th May 1952, aged 73, and her husband, John, on the 17th October 1955, aged 81, at Inchlyne, Marnoch, by Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
They had one son, Thomas, who died in 1991.
